Who Do I Speak For?
The thoughts and ideas contained in this blog are mine and only mine. As much as I wish they did, these thoughts do not necessarily reflect those of my employer or various other organizations of which I'm affiliated.

Hi,
Read your blog on you first workshop on learning on the job.
Well done on your experience.
Do you have exemplars of assignment for maths that is forwarded for moderation?
I would be grateful if i could have a weak, average and good sample of students work

@prof gopi Thanks for the visit. It’s probably not a good idea to distribute student work.
In terms of MYP moderation, “weak”, “average” and “good” refer to the general level of your students rather than performance on a specific task. One of my best students might have mis-read the task and made some uncharacteristic mistakes. That’s okay! Just be sure to make appropriate comments on the moderation form explaining what happened. Moderation is less about the students and more about the teachers/department: do you (the teacher) understand and apply the assessment criteria appropriately? Good luck and be sure to let me know how your moderation goes!
