Mr. Hamada – Master of the Obvious

You mean I can tag individual posts in my Google Reader? Why did it take me so long to see this?  So, as I’m reading dy/dan or The Number Warrior or Math Stories and am inspired by their ideas, I can

From My Google Readerimmediately tag them with the appropriate class name so that I can find it again when I need it?

Did anybody else know about this?  Master of the Obvious, indeed…

I knew (sorry). However I found that sometimes I tagged in Google Reader and sometimes I saved in del.icio.us and then I didn’t know where I saved it. Now I’m tagging in GR for posts and del.icio.us for other links.

Yes, that is the problem, isn’t it? Between Diigo, delicious, GReader, and any of the other tools (not to mention logins, passwords, etc.) it’s hard to find things even when you’ve tried to organize them for easy finding!

But I think I’ll go the same route as you: weblinks using Diigo (that are then pushed to delicious), posts using Google Reader. I wonder if I could then set up a PageFlakes site to then aggregate all that into one?

Mate, I might have to ask for help on this one – just went to google reader to try and figure it out; will try and find you in 30mins…….

I didn’t know this. But I, too, am having problems managing all the info and bookmarks. Info overload! I actually haven’t really gotten into Diigo for that reason — I am afraid of what it might do to my organizational system.

I do think, however, you could set up an iGoogle page to aggregate all of what you’re talking about. Not sure about Pageflakes, as I haven’t gotten into that, either!
